nice

are you gonna run an external electric oil pump and reservoir for the oil to cool the turbo or tap it on the oil pan?

I have been thinking about using the port on the back of the block where the oil filter WOULD be. On the TSX it's underneath, there is a block off plate there. Does anyone know if that is a spot where I can get oil from? (sandwich plate, then put the block off back on the plate) I've been meaning to take one off at work but haven't found a warranty job yet. As for a return the current choice is taking off the time tensioner cover and welding a fitting to that.

This looks like its going to be an amazing build. I'm sure it will inspire many of us who have been dreaming about doing the same, but didn't have big enough balls to pull through like you are. PROPS!

Will you be selling this solution as a kit of types? I was at the point of giving up and purchasing the CTE supercharger setup... I would prefer Turbo BIG time.

Optimusaccord i'm still debating on how to sell it will be at least manifold and down pipe it will be so much easier to use a internal waste gated turbo like the borg warner efr turbos if you want to do this style it could be much faster would require sending me the turbo for build not ready to take any money yet i dont see there being a huge demand for this so you will most likley be the first

I would have no issues running a Borg Warner EFR turbo, as it would make the install much cleaner.

Do you work at an Acura dealership? If so, could you help me determine if a regular k series LSD will drop into the 09 tranny case, with a 10 bolt ring gear and 10 honda oem ring gear bolts? Before I start picking everything up, I would like to have some amount of certainty before I pay to have the transmission removed.

I have talked to a few aftermarket companies, and they "believe" it will fit, but no one has tried it yet. The 11 TSX and 12 si have very similar part numbers, so I think it should work... but, should and will are about 1200 dollars too much to just try it on a whim.

Thanks for any help, and if you do want to produce the kit, let's get a dialog going. I have had a few places say they were interested to make a kit, but then nothing ever occurred to move it forward.

So, what is the expected timeline for this?

I have been pretty patient up to this point, so I'm not worried about waiting a bit longer. But would like a time table. Also would like to budget it out and set a calendar for when to get LSD and clutch and flywheel in by...

i have been waiting and waiting for somebody to do this, a local shop quoted me at 11,12k due to custom fabrication and welding for proper fitment, cant wait to see the outcome and hopefully will be the next person to get this done

Optimusaccord I work at Larry h miller honda in sallt lake city utah.I'm 48 years old been a technician since I was 17. I raced stock cars street stock to late models for 13+ years built many chassis, headers, exhuast systems, complete cars, over the years (not to good at writing these posts my spelling and penmanship suck sure you all noticed)
As for time line the sooner you get me a turbo and some materials the better that way I can do youre manifold and down pipe at the same time as mine and test fit on my car in the next month and ship it to you max 2 months from now if you have a tuner talk to him on turbo choice (must be internal waste gated) I like precision turbos oil cooled and lubricated no coolant lines to mess with. e mail me at scotts1lowtsx@yahoo.com
---vortex blue tsx-- I knew you would be interested youre car is bad ass -----ttk5-- I have been stalking youre car it looks really good I want to make my white tsx look as good as yours---mirozs the whole turbo setup will be about 1/2 or less of what you were quoted even with flash pro and a good dyno tune and all quality parts no knock off junk now you could go crazy on parts and spend more. the manifold and down pipe will be about $1,000-$1200 (add $125 for fake converter to fool the emission tester) intake pipe and filter about $350-$450 still working on inter cooler and hot cold pipes not sure on $$ for those yet turbo oil line and drain kit close to knowing cost.

I'll construct an email when I am home this weekend, or maybe on the plane home if we have internet in flight.

I am open to suggestion on turbo's, do precision offer the internally wastegated options? I am open to that, I want ball bearing unless you are against that?? I would like 350 - 400 whp....
