'07-'08 Acura TL Climate control/Radio Display on '05 Acura TL

It's possible make a retrofit installing the 07 08 AC and Radio console on an 05 Acura TL. Are the bottom connectors (green and blue) identical?

The connectors may be of different sizes but you can get a new connector and rewire the wires to it to make it work. A few members have upgraded to the 2007 nav and radio by doing the whole retrofit. Since your non-navi it should be a lot easier!

This thread has my interest as well; has anybody successfully fitted a non-nav 2007-2007 climate and audio display to a 2004-2006 TL? Another question, if the retrofit has been successful, did the compass display on the new panel operate correctly?

Thread update...

I found a very reasonably priced 2007-2008 non-nav display panel yesterday and purchased it. I still don't know what is involved in retrofitting the display into my 2006, but I figured for $45, I might as well give it a try.

If anybody has done this swap, I'd love to hear what is involved; if not, I guess I'll be blazing a trail on my own.
