Smile Best Audio Settings for TL Tech PKG?

Hello everyone,

So I am wondering what you all think to be are the best settings to get the best use of this great sound system? I mean I've been playing around with it a lot lately but feel I can still get a little more out of the Elliott Shiner System!!

Any feedback and settings you guys have will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

DVD-Audio or USB memory / i-Pod based source with high bitrate mp3s. Anything else is subjective to personal taste. The XM is pingy and you can hear every bit of the low bitrate frizz, the FM tuner sounds pingy as well....undoubtedly, the DVD-A is phenom, and USB/ipod output sounds pretty good with good mp3s as well.

This is what I use as a audiophile.
bass +3
Treble +2
Sub +3

Everything else 0.

I sometimes have to slightly adjust bass and treble depending on the source and how loud I am playing. To my ears this seems to be a good starting point.

I have all of my settings at 0
The DVD/A's, BT Audio, CD's, HDD, Ipod, all sound fab
This way I can crank it, when necessary!
Very rarely, use XM, AM, or FM, except for Baseball, & Football games

I thought if you turn off the prologic, the cd and the radio will back to its original stereo format. Which sounds to me is less vivid... unless the media itself is recorded in 5.1 format, then it could utilize this system.

Either on or off. Gives you simulated surround sound.

Not sure exactly what you were trying to say but you can not use prologic on DVD-A 5.1 source audio. Don't think it works on analog radio either, just CD, Bluetooth & aux/iPod.

Not quite true. Dolby Prologic decoder is capable of decode the FM stereo matrix, but depends on how the radio station process the signal then you may yield different results.

For the content originally recorded in 5.1, of course it does not need the Dolby Prologic.
