Wink pass me down...

Why thank you CLtotheTL the Legend type II's were custom powder coated to that gunmetal gray and had to be slightly drilled to fit the ZDseX bolt pattern, I had them on my RDXturbo previously...

for summer

persuaded by veneno's above post, inspired by mugen kid's thread.

Wheel Brand - falken
Wheel Model - rt-7m
Rim size (diameter and width) - 22" x 9.5"
Offset | ET - +15mm (stick out past fenders a bit...maybe half inch)
Tire Brand - falken ziex st04 (or something like that)
Tire size - 265/40/22 (wanted more sidewall to keep it suv'ish)
Lowered- nope
Do they rub - ever so slightly in reverse on full lock, very hard to hear over engine. will update with 5 adults on board incase its worse. so far me 200lbs + 200lb cargo and i wouldnt call it rub because its so difficult to mimick the noise.

i was trying to keep it looking similar to factory and these wheels reminded me of tl-s wheels. also didnt want a terrible ride or to fear potholes hence the 40 series tire.

first 30 miles made it feel a little roll resistance in reverse uphill compared to before and a little bullyish on hwy puddles in comfort mode. we'll see where the spring takes it...cant imagine being happier on oem 20s or skinny tire 24s.

I think these would look nasty on my CBP. I have always liked black with a polished/chrome lip on black cars. I would've kept the A centercaps because people would think they're stock as the car is so rare.

OEM caps don't fit DPE's unfortunately

Looks nice in silver. Still debating which wheels to get and what size - 20 or 22s. Choosing between lexani cvx55, lust and r-six, giovanna andros, vossen cv1. A bit hesitant of going 22s since it will affect accelaration as mugen kid stated. Would love to go 21s like sandros but not a lot of options thus good ones are really expensive. Opinions and suggestions appreciated.

How is your accelaration compared to stock? What is the weight difference between wheel sets?

Chosing between 20s and 22s I would go 22s

Most likely I would go 22s myself if not our extremely nasty roads

If I ever do get back into another ZDX(which I hope I do) I would go 20" no lip with an concave face / aggressive offset and lower it more then before. I love the look of the 22" but man the gas and power kill was not worth it. Plus if you do the right wheel a 20" will look great. I would recommend looking at brands that will not be so heavy as well, this will be a big factor with most driving characteristics of the vehicle. Some of the Savini BM series stuff looks amazing for a cast wheel. I would go with one of these over Lexani or Giovanna wheel. Just my opinion of course, but I do handle all these brands on a daily basis and can tell you Savini is better. But I love Vossen personally, and think they are well above the rest in cast wheels for luxury vehicles.

Looks great by the way digitaltypeS!

i believe the aftermarket wheels are a little less weight than the factory. As far as acceleration, i think you will burn more gas with aftermarket wheels. So far i love its handling on the highway but not so much local road since I sorta constantly look out for any pothole. If you care more about performance, i suggest to go with 20" but they do look small on our Z.

How do you plan to lower it if ever you get one? With regards to the odyssey springs, how did it affect the ride quality? Thanks

The second time around I would go with air suspension or contact coilsprings.com and have them build me a custom setup. Not much out there and I don't expect there will ever be. As far as the Odyssey springs I would not recommend this. The ride was fine at first but after awhile it started getting pretty rough.

Its just a coil spring and you will have to do all your measurement for them. Once you have figured out how low you want to go you will give them your measurements and then send in one front spring and one rear spring for them to recreate. It takes about 4 weeks for the process. I think I was quoted around $700.00 for everything. I almost pulled the trigger when I had my ZDX but ended up selling it

Thanks, but I think white looks better in the ZDX. I have grown to love the light colors on the Z.

As for the measurements I never gave them anything since I never ended going this route. Let me know what you end up doing.
