if I can get my hands on the A-Spec body kit and A-Spec suspension from the 6MT base version, I'll be golden.

The A-Spec susp on the 6MT version is slightly better than the A-Spec susp on the 5AT version

You can. I see some people on the FB pages selling some (even in your color). May not be the full kit in your color together but if you search you will find them piece by peice. It will take some time. Happy Hunting! One mod you won't regret getting as well.

I had to get the sides in a different color and repaint. I grabbed the front and rear from Bruce as soon as I realized that the kits are disappearing.

justnspace just get it and repaint already

Big Wang = Race Car, I dislike the track "inspired" look. Pretty soon we will be seeing Time Attack inspired street cars with crazy splitters.

Front lip adds more down force to keep the front wheels from spinning.

Brain was running on empty so couldn't think of the right terminology to use to describe the A-Spec ground effects package.

Blew the doors off a 2007 Mustang GT Automatic with straight pipe from the final cat all the way back with rear muffler delete. Times were 14.1 @ 100 for me and 14.9 @ 98 for him. Track temp was 78 degrees with 83(!) percent humidity. Lights out on that ass. Filmed from three different angles with a close up brightened still image to confirm that it was in fact a GT. Time slip at end of video.

How do you hype a car that runs mostly low 14 second passes beside my one 13.9? This is how you hype a car that runs mostly low 14 second passes beside that 13.9.

I need more money. More everything. Gutting my HFPC's soon and bumping up to 3 inch catback exhaust to help with things and may do a headlight (driver's side) velocity stack.

I have heard that too but someone I recently talked to broke it down a little more clearly and for my exact situation with all the bolt ons I have, they said I would see gains. Only on top end though. A few friends of mine went 3 inch on the cat back and they said it pulls noticeably better up top and that they still had their low end. So I guess it really depends if you have the supporting mods or not.

But do those "friends" have it on a TL? You got to remember not all cars, specifically the TL, do not respond to certain mods as other cars do. So simply adding a 3" exhaust, despite all your other mods may not net the same gains as the other cars your "friends" have done. If adding a 3" exhaust to a NA TL netted the same gains as your "friends" did, then many members here would already be running them. Furthermore the vendors would more than likely have 3" versions of their exhaust systems as well. Some have those made to order by request if you're running FI as sockr1 and countless members have mentioned. Just food for thought.

Personally I would first focus on getting out of all that debt that your TL and its mods have put you in. Look at it this way, you free them up, then you have more $$$ to get more "worthy" mods done to your car. You have accomplished a good bit with your ride and many don't respect that but all that debt is limiting you as well because your out of funds.

Yeah I was referring to TL's, a few random people who are NA on the FB TL group have 3 inch but yeah I should stop spending.

Its addicting I'm sure, but I dont think Id go much further into this man. Just be happy with what you have. At the end of the day its a Automatic TL. (still a great car)
I gave up trying to mod for power thinking I'm going to make my car noticeably faster, once I realized that, I then focused on making it look pretty lol.

With that said I will buy HFPC in the future

I wouldn't trust a fb TL owner to say the 3" exhaust helps on NA. Unless they have a specific dyno before and after. I'm pretty confident the 3" will only hurt you. Just my opinion

Most members on the FB pages have either never been on AZ or too lazy to really research enough on what works and don't work on our cars. I've seen instances where people post links to threads on AZ and they don't want to read it because it's 20+ pages long. They pretty much just want the answer handed to them on a silver platter. A lot of them have come from civics and what not doing ricer stuff such as the 3" exhaust, etc. So now that they unfortunately own a 3G TL they bring those bad habits and lack of knowledge with them. I trust most of the info on Acurazine from a handful of members who are actually knowledgeable on cars, specifically 3G TL/TL-S and also J-Series engine platforms. I also base my decisions on what mods to do based on what has been proven and set in stone.

Long story short, trust advice from people who have info and data to backup their claims. Also others who have more than proven their knowledge and experience such as Bruce, Andy, ILC, Yungone, etc just to name a few.
