Best songs to listen to with the Krell Audio

I have a lot of older music when I downloaded things in the "napster days" which is probably late 90s. Back then you could download songs in 128K 320K or whatever. I am trying to find songs that sound good on the Krell Audio system. So far in my opinion the best sounding song is "Big City Stripper" by Cory Morrow for audio and guitar etc. For bass which the system doesn't have "high so high" by south park Mexican sounds pretty good. Anyone have any other suggestions for songs (Something that has words in it and not classical etc). Or does everything that is on a CD sound good? I know that the radio (FM) isn't as good as any of the songs I burned to CD. Also how hard is it to deal with one of these Ipod things? I found a 4th Gen 8GB one and going to try to use it.

A 16GB iPod Nano can be had for very cheap, and it will hold enough high quality music on it to keep you entertained for extended periods.

I think it's less what kind of music you're listening to, and more how the music is recorded and transmitted to you that makes the difference.

In my opinion, the iPod gives you the best music quality, followed by HD Radio, followed by broadband streaming Bluetooth in areas where you have a good 4G LTE signal to allow Aha (Slacker Radio) and Pandora to do the best that they can do.

I have a complete XM Radio subscription that I listen to all the time for things like NPR, BBC and so on, and I will also listen to it for 40's music and other things that are hard to find elsewhere...but even though XM on KRELL sounds better than it does anywhere else, it's only incrementally better and XM Radio sucks, basically, except for the convenience of it all.

I don't bother with CD media at all because after it's recorded on the HDD the quality goes way down. The HDD isn't capable of recording at the highest fidelity the disc is capable of producing, so what's the point.

:-)

I got a 8gb nono 4th gen for free it was in the computer bag I bought when I bought the computer. It sounds a lot better then the FM stereo. The recording needs to be like 192K and above to sound real good though.

Sounds like I am the only one who uses a USB device? I just use the random play function
Out here, there are many HD FM stations that can be listened too, so I am not paying for XM in this vehicle
