I'm only interested to know if it is possible or not to get this internationally, that's all, and other people on this thread from europe/australia expressed interest, so maybe they had more information.
Unless the before and after dyno's done within hrs (even then), the increase reading wouldn't be accurate.....

I got the pipe put on today. I will set up the time on the dyno, maybe this week or next.
I can't wait to hear it screaming up near redline.

I was doing that last night, and it tripped the CEL? So I used the flashpro to clear the Dash trouble code. It said that it was having slow response from secondary o2 sensor...
#205
with flashpro, you can disable the secondary 02 sensor...you don't need it
#206
#207
^the secondary o2 verifies if the cat is working properly.

I will do this as soon as I can get my flashpro to tie to my car.

doesn't your videocam save the file into a certain file format? all you need to do is dload a free video converter and swap the format, it'll allow you to compress the file into a smaller resolution file too. Keep the audio at 128kbps though.

I drove/tested with the prototype for almost a year without a CEL. Driving like I stole it, driving like a grandma, driving through subzero temps and driving through 100+ heat with AC running full blast.
When the prototype was installed, we made sure to reset the ECU. We disconnected the negative wire (black) from the body and grounded it out on the chassis, or you can just let it sit awhile with the negative terminal disconnected. That way, the ECU would relearn fuel mapping with the PCD install instead of trying to learn it from the non-PCD mapping.
The ECU establishes a baseline when running with the precat. The PCD is installed and all of a sudden, the O2 sensor past the precat is like "OH SNAP! I'm seeing a ton more oxygen. Precat must be bad so I'll thrown a CEL."

The ECU is constantly reading all the sensors and adjusting fuel and timing to get the best fuel economy. I don't think the ECU stores this data other than the last one that was on the car and the base calibration from the factory. If it stored all this information, there would need to be a ton of memory since it reads these sensor several times per second.
#222
I don't mean that it stores all the information, but some sort of base readings. Just trying to figure out how disconnecting the battery helps it reset other than deleting whatever info it has to refer back to.

I used the flashpro to clear the DTC, and since it hasn't alarmed since. I have opened it up a few times. Grabbing the next gear feels so much better. However I am working on locking the flashpro to the car right now. As soon as I can get that issue resolved I will set up an appointment with tuner to have it all sorted out and then we'll get results that we are looking for.

omg the sound of axions cu2 is amazing!. that video motivated me to take more shifts at work so i can get more funding to unleash the beast!
also, cant wait for optimus to show us what the pipe can do on the dyno!!

That was a fast response, and the issue was: I needed to install beta version of code for 09-10 tsx support.
It is now locked to my ecu, and tomorrow I will setup a tuning appointment with the dyno shop next week. Soon we will have more than stock, stock, and supercharged maps available.

Besides the fact that it's 107 degree outside today, and fourth of July next week... The tuning shop said they are booked for three weeks out, so I will call them at the end of next week to set up an appointment. The car has been driving great, however I now work from home, so my mpg has dropped like a rock because now the only place I drive is within 10 minutes of my house.

so you just have the intake/ dp on correct?
thanks btw for doing all this for the community. I wanted to be a hero like you, but also i have no income really, so that went out the window quickly
in your candid opinion, has the downpipe been worth it?

I think so, yes. Ask me again when it isn't 108 degrees, and the art of driving is somewhat fun again.
When it isn't like the surface of the sun outside, it is alot better when shifting between gears. The motor pulls better up top also, I am really looking forward to putting the car on the dyno.
Putting this on is akin to putting a header on, at least that's the closest thing that I can compare this to, it doesn't feel like a cat delete, nor does it smell like a cat delete.

Still trying to get in and tuned. If everyone here wasn't so worried about pre and post this would already be done.
I got bumped twice this week. I'm supposed to get tuned on Monday at 11am, we will see what happens.

does anyone know the outlet diameter on this piece?

It matches up with the factory cat. it's quite nicely done.
SO, I got the dyno done today. It was 101 degrees here today, and very humid. So... here it is, (will upload pictures if anyone wants to help with that, email me... ) with the intake and just pipe on, the power was 171/160 tq. The baseline was 170/15X tq. Now, some may complain that it's not enough, but keep in mind, when I originally dynoed the car it was like 85F, so it's quite a bit warmer, and more humid today.
Now for the good. With a conservative tune, for 93 octane gas, the car put down a killer 193.72 hp/160.87 tq with. Be mindful, this was with 101 degree temperatures, no air movement at all, and the car on the dyno for like 2 hours. Throttle response is way way faster, and my daugher loves the sound the motor makes now.
Pulls strong, cannot wait for the custom turbo kit...

wait what? so you have a tune? And with the downpipe and intake your numbers were the same as your baseline?

optimus...you just convinced me to order this! Thanks!

But the baseline vs. today is a whole lot of temperature. From 80 degrees baseline, to 101 and 50% humidity today.... the fact the car actually gained a hp and about 6 tq, I'd say the pipe does quite well.
Then with a tune, it's almost 194... and the torque is alot better... I am pretty happy, for only two parts on the car so far.

So the shop tuned your stock ECU? Or do you have hondata? Or were you that one guy who sent his ECU to Russia to have it tuned lol. Also, what kind of dyno were you on? Sorry for all the questions.
#240
hold the telephone, are you saying that with a tune + dp you clocked 19x whp?
thats delicious
