More Drivers Side Headroom-2nd Generation
Hi,
Looking for two inches or more additional headroom.
Does anyone have a spec on the cushion thickness ,ie. five inches can replace with two inch cushion?
Or any ideas on how to get more head room for six footers?
Hate to pass on the MDX.
PS
Legroom is fine.
Regards

I'm 6'3" and head room isn't a problem in my MDX. I can see if you are tall with shorter legs/arms + longer torso could limit head room. My legs are 32-34 inseam and my arms are 37/38 for long sleeve shirts. I have to keep the seat all the way back and down. My left ear is about the same location/level as the adjustable seat belt post and I have about 5 inches of headroom before I hit the roof.
Adjustable pedals is one thing I wish Acura would provide for their vehicles. My wife if 4'11" and she sits too close to the steering wheel. An air bag deployment would probably feel like a UFC knee to the chest to her.
My RDX is my daily driver because I have a few more inches of legroom. My headroom is down to about 2 -2 1/2 inches to spare compared to 5 inches on the MDX.
