Billet aluminum oil adaptor came in. This will go with my engine oil cooler system for the Type-S. The sandwich oil filter adaptor that the kit came with is chinsy.

Here is my before and after Comptech time. Both were on a tuned with a Catless but otherwise stock Type-S exhaust. Before: Comptech + E85 made 304whp After: Comptech + E85 + Complete port and polish(Minus head PnP) Goal achieved!

Now that the Comptech I’d fully functional and complete. The M90 top mount S/C is next up. I will have two separate systems for the Acura TL-B5. Depending on whether I’d like to drive Stealth OEM or Mad max.

S/C oil, OEM needle bearings, S/C lube are ready to freshen up this M90. The needle bearing removal tool will be here this week. I still need a custom belt and adaptor kit for this system. I was going to make my own Pranks M90 adaptor kit, but for the price and time spent making it look anywhere near that Kit is not worth it. Will be ordering the kit soon.

This is where the M90 stands so far. I used an angle grinder that I borrowed from my Father to do this job. After two hours of man handling the S/C, I realized water helped the diamond blade cool and cut. Thats when the motor on the grinder gave out. I replaced it with a new one from a Home Depot the next day, finished the grind job and returned both grinder to my pops.
This is where the M90 stands so far. I used an angle grinder that I borrowed from my Father to do this job. The last owners of this a S/C used JB weld to partially cover this hole. Had to dig it out with a screw driver.

Since the TL-S6 has BC racing coils, I’m switching out the TL-B5s stock 174k mike coils with the old Type-S stockies. They are former than the base model and fresher.

I drove to Seattle to get a long drive sense of the car and the current MPG of the final kit(minus aftermarket exhaust).

Driving in the pouring rain on hills and turns I was able to get about 18mph hwy on the way up. On the way down it was sunny and dry. I was not driving a steady 66/67mpg, running the car and did at least 12 pulls though was able to get 18.2mpg. This means that me that the weather had a profound effect. Perhaps the fuel at Chevron was better as well? Driving steady I could have obtained at least 20.5mpg(350x17)hwy!

Home Depot sells a small Grease gun for $15.86. I was going to go to my local hardware shop to buy a bolt and zerk adaptor and create a tool buy to transfer the grease into the M90 and behind the bearings to pop them out with pressure. Though the threaded hose that comes in this kit can be tapped directly into the bearing holes bypassing the 2-3 bolt/zerk tool making(like the guy in the youtube video).

Gramps(Moms side) came by today to bring tomato starts! Next will be cucumbers in a month or so. I know this isn’t cars, but I planned to install the Type-S6 coils on to the TL-B5 today and decided to do all I could on the garden beds today.
