TPMS Issue
So last week, I was driving to meet a business associate for lunch. I stopped at a stop sign and took off - very mildly, no flooring or anything of such. Immediately, my TPMS light came on and I got an error on the dash-display, saying check tpms monitor or something like that. I toggled the display to get the screen with the psi monitor on the four tires, and I couldn't get it to show up, instead it took me to the error screen.
Pulled over, used a pocket air pressure guage, and checked all the tires. Everything was normal 32-33 psi.
Drove it for a week, then yesterday, I had a chance to take it to my brother's garage. He plugged it into his LAUNCH OBD tool, and found that the the rear left TPMS sensor isn't communicating with the computer. He did something that reset the error And I was on my way. However, when I toggled to the screen with the pressure numbers, it showed three were on, and the 4th - rear left - was blank (two dashes to be accurate). 10 minutes of driving later, the error came back on. It was almost like the computer was trying to communicate with the sensor then gave up and generated the error message again - message on the display and the standard TPMS signal wheel thing.
Next stop is the dealership.
Curious to see if anyone else had incurred something like this, and what the verdict was.
I have a 2010 base. Now it has 17k miles.

It's back... this time it's on the front right
Hi Guys
Sorry for the long absence... life, summer, work, travel, all get in the way.
Anyway, this happened late last week. After the dealer took care of the rear-left TPMS sensor. My front right went out. Similar M.O. as last time. I get a TPMS error and all 4 tires won't read on the monitor. Took it to my brother, he reset it with the OBD and voila, the culprit shows up as a blank.
Back to the dealership again. I will ask the same question as last year: Has anyone incurred this issue? I just find it weird that it happened twice to me.

Yeah... I don't know. Only thing I could think of is the fact that this vehicle sat on the Acura dealer's lot for about 4-5 months before I bought it. Also, until this year, I didn't drive as much. We'll see.

I have not had this issue and I had some spare zdx sensors and would have helped you out but I no longer have them sorry. I bet the battery's are prematurely going bad. Is it possible you fill with air from time to time with a public compressor such as at a gas station? Allot of times those tend to not be serviced regularly and will have allot of moisture in them and when you fill your tires it puts water in with the air and kills the sensors over time. I try to only fill my tires at home our at my trusted shop.

Thanks TL. Dealer will cover the spares. Had my brother plug it in again, and he is saying that a few codes popped on the LAUNCH. And he's pretty sure this time it's a module issue too. Last time it was just one code. I will update when I make it to the dealer.

Thanks for the update. I also had the same issue a couple months back on my 2010 ZDX. Apparently, if one sensor is not working, the complete system shows an error. The display screen showed "TPMS system error" and all of the tire pressures showed up blank for each wheel. I couldn't tell which TPMS sensor was bad. Took the ZDX into the dealership and they replaced one of the front sensors. It was under warranty and didn't cost anything to fix.
