rear Bumper exhaust inserts

hi all

I hand sanded and spray painted the polished exhaust insert matte black and plastidipped the red reflectors gloss black. Now the trim piece paint is chipping. Not surprised since I am in New England snow and salt. Thinking of wrapping it 3m. Has anyone done that? Or should I spend the $$ and get it baked (powder coated)?

When I tried to get my inserts wrapped in chrome vinyl, every shop refused to even try this, they were convinced that exhaust heat will kill it very soon.
So I ended up powder coating them

Yeah. That was my exact concern. How is the powder coating holding up? Thanks Sandro.
