Pulled the trigger and...
Pulled the trigger and...
...scored a heck of a deal.
I've watched, waited, lurked, plotted, observed and finally found the ZDX I've been waiting wanting. It's been almost a year now that I've been planning on buying this car and today was the day!
$43.2 out the door for a 2010, brand new, Tech Package.

I see LED running boards and OEM 20's in the ZDX's future.
BTW, here's what it replaced: (You'll notice an overall similarity in the shape of both vehicles)

Wow, very nice. So this is a 2010 and it is still brand new ? If you don't mind me asking, how many miles were on it when you picked it up ? Congrats on the new ride, I am sure you will love it.

I was looking at it today and I can live with the lower grills that are with the fog lights, but the upper part will be painted silver soon.
I have some outdoor paint left over that looks to be a perfect match for the silver parts of the grill as well as the overall car color.
Tires are Yokohama Parada Spec-X (275/40/20), mounted and balanced with the TPMS sensors installed.
Let me get this straight, so Rims and tires mounted cost you $2502 total? That ain't bad, better then if you got it at the dealership for sure. Can't wait to see your pics. My dealership is trying to talk me into a 2011 ZDX tech and have offered to show me the invoice and sell it at that price. If I should go with it, I will do all the add ons afterwards, you save a lot of money for sure.

I found the 20's on ebay and then negotiated a better deal for the full set of wheels + using my UPS account kept the cost down, somewhat.
Acura is proud of the OEM rims, no doubt. I did consider other rims (see my other thread), but after thinking about it and considerations, etc. I went with the OEM 20's.
It did help that several other members have the OEM 2-0's on their ZDX's and have posted pics. Not to mention that the hub size will make sure there's no shudder, which we know can happen when using hub centric rings.
The dealership I bought mine from was just glad to move the car off the lot. The sales guy I did the deal with was really cool and didn't try and give me a snow job like they normally do. I used some of their own tactics against them in order to leverage the deal.
Keep in mind I wanted either a white or silver ZDX with the tan/taupe interior + Tech package and would have taken a plane flight to get the one I wanted for the price I wanted. Just so happens the car we ended up buying was somewhat local (less than 2 hours away).
