Power lift gate Modification
Has anyone tried to modify your rear lift gate to operate like the 2013 where it will automatically open instead of manually open?

What do you mean automatically open? Do you mean powerlift gate? I thought the powerlift gate was standard

What I mean is on the 2010-12 you have to manually raise the tail gate if you don't use the remote or button inside. The 2013 will trigger the power lift mech from the rear lift handle
