Here she is! Piece of cake install and no intake whistle or off sounds. She sounds absolutely stock until the VTEC kicks in. Then it has a pleasant roar!

 

Nice! Is there one specifically for the zdx or is this for the mdx? What was the listed power gain?

 

This was marketed for an MDX yet fits perfectly on our ZDX. As for gains, they claim nothing, which I prefer. The factory system is already an extremely efficient cold air setup so gains would be in the less than ten horsepower arena if we're lucky, and that would be in perfect conditions.

The real win is the sound. The ZDX is such a beautiful, sporty machine yet sounds so tame. This intake coupled with the j-pipe mod makes it sound like it should have from the factory. It's like you can hear it having a soul, like some older Porsches, Hemis, etc.....

 

I see. How much did the jpipe cost you?

 

Unfortunately, my beloved ZDX is no more thanks to the icy roads of NY and an inexperienced driver in a RWD Camaro! Ahhh!

So anyone that wants this nearly brand new, MDX/ZDX intake just give me a shout. I can let it go for $100 shipped to the lower 48.
