A friend should be getting his official Mach-E Super Charger adapter in the next 6-8 weeks and he is offering to let me try it on the ZDX. What we both believe (perhaps incorrectly) is that if I use the Tesla app to initiate and bill a charging session it will work on my car. That "official" adapters are only needed for plug-and-charge as well as for map updates. Fingers crossed.
