Blitzsafe Issues!!!

Ok i know i know....this topic has been talked to death on here!

I have a 99 TL and I installed the Blitzsafe in it 2 years ago. Got the Idea here via the pictures and PDF DIY and appreciate the people responsible for putting it up. But recently everytime I connect the IPOD to the Blitzsafe adapter it says "Charging and to transfer music or play songs connect the appropriate cable"

I don't know what to do about this; somebody recomended just getting another Blitzsafe adapter but I am kinda not willing to spend the 60 bucks again.....is there another way or does somebody know what exactly is going on here!!! any help will be appreciated

thanks yall

What kind of IPOD do you have. Anything really new (touch, nano, 3g Iphone, etc.) can not use firewire pins to charge. Blitzsafe was working on a new adapter cable for the new IPODs. You can also search for cablejive, they sell an adapter. If none of the above work call blitzsafe tell them the problem and they might send you a new adapter. They did when the adapter in my wife's accord crapped out.

I have the 30 GB 2nd generation, It worked fine for the past 2 years so i don't think thats causing the problem. Upon reconnecting the wire it suddenly started to work but then upon shutting off and starting again later on during the day it gave me the same message "Firewall connections can be used to charge please use the appropriate cables to transfer/play songs"

Cable Jive does'nt have the appropriate cables for a 99 TL.

Ok guys, i just contacted Blitzsafe and they said that downloading the newest version of ITUNES can sometimes give you the firewire error message and if you wanna go back download and earlier version of Itunes 7 or before the problem should be fixed. I did that today and so far no error message so lets see what happens i will update you guys in a couple of days. Also the guy recommended the G2 cable if you do wanna keep the newest version of the ITUNES. its like 20 bucks !
