Noisy Roof?

Noisy Roof?
Does any have a "creaky" roof sound when driving? It's bitterly cold up here in Michigan and I've been hearing a flexing cracking noise from the roof. I was wondering if that was normal because of the glass roof and if it's only during cold months. Could it be the panes of glass flexing between the rubber gaskets or whatnot?

FINALLY!!! someone else did! I posted a thread on the same topic and posted a recording of the sound. It started with the noise right out of the dealership since August 2013 brand new model. The car spent more time in the shop than my garage and every supposed fix failed to take care of it. The last one did seem to help somewhat. I even called Acura Corp. They said it's not a reported issue. if you guys call and insist that your local dealership reports the issue maybe they'll take it more seriously instead of making me (or maybe you too) that I'm just a lone whiner and complainer. They need to have an engineer look into this. Try to search for my post on the topic.

I notice it as well, particularly when it gets colder. I chalked it up to the fact the entire roof is glass. All my previous cars had steel rigid roofs and figured the glass had more flex and never thought about it again. I wouldn't be worried...

Where I live it's not uncommon for temps to dip below -40c in the winter. I suppose any vehicle will make sounds when this cold but the roof literally sounds like it cracks in half when I drive onto an incline at an angle. Have learned to live with it.

Same issue on mine (2012). I'm in San Diego, so obviously temps don't get all that cold here. It does seem to help if I open and close the roof once I start driving... Also does seem to be prevalent in the mornings (where it is kinda cold, ~40 degrees last couple days).

I'm also in the DFW area and I have the same issues during the winter months. Every morning I hear a loud crack coming from the roof. I've learned to live with it, but sometimes it catches me off guard. It makes a loud sound as if the entire roof just cracked.

We have a '10 ZDX/tech with 72000 miles. I've never heard any noises from above. We keep the car garaged, the only time it's out is when we're on a road trip. Maybe being out overnight is a cause? Just a guess.

i challenge you all to look for an undercarriage brace of some sort to stiffen up the chassis
in my 2006 Acura TL, the roof creaks and flexes each time i go over an uneven surface. adding an undercarriage brace took care of the flexing.
i believe heeltoeauto.com sells the bracing for the TL/accord/TSX.
