Exclamation Need Some Help - CKP Replacement

Hi All - Without getting into what got me here, I accidentally put a hole in my oil pan. I bought a new one and replaced it which included putting the old crankshaft position sensor into the new pan. That was the only sensor that was touched. When all was said and done, I started the car and everything was fine. Started right up, idles normally for about 10 seconds, and then the engine races to right around 2000-2500 rpm's and stays there. With that comes numerous codes, all of them being misfires, and the SHAWD. When I turn the engine off and restart it the exact same thing happens; It starts with a normal idle and then repeats the engine racing. I don't have much in the way of electronic tools and would love to avoid the dealer if possible. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Turns out I had to go to the Acura dealer and they had to reprogram the ECU. I called ahead of time and talked to the actual tech in the garage. I started to tell him everything in the above paragraph and he finished it for me describing the racing idle verbatim. All is well now. Terrorizing the streets again.
