Well, I've had my ZDX (Shamu) for 4 months now (it's 17 months old) and have put on almost 6K miles since I bought it with 3,400 miles on the odometer, so I can now give more objective and subjective evaluations. As expected, the leather on the front seats is showing some wear and tear. I now hate trying to keep the roof clean. No more glass roofs in my future. The Advance package is worth every penny, and I will not buy another vehicle without the features. The large "A" pillar is also bugging me when making left turns, and at intersections. Everything else I love about the ZDX, and the gas mileage has been better that expected. I often get 24 mpg on the road compared to only 21 on my old '10 MDX. I have no regrets about buying the ZDX, but I am thinking the Gen 3 MDX may be my next vehicle when it comes out next year. Time will tell.

Yep the leather on the seats is rather weak. But the good thing is that leather on the pillow (that gets worn the most) costs like 150$ and can be easily replaced at a shop. Unlike most other cars.

Have you tried using Rain X on the roof? I had a couple Mercedes with pano roofs and that seemed to help. I actually like glass roofs because they don't seem to get dinged or scratched like metal roofs.

I use rain-x on my roof and I think it works great. I also really like the all glass roof.

Works great and especially on this car with all the glass. Do a couple of treatments and thank me later.
