More lighting mods to my ZDX

Inspired by the ZDX concept, I just got a Hella LED DRL strip installed. Had to remove the bumper, cut the grille near the fog lights and play with wiring.
It stays off when the car is running, turns on full power with parking lights and 50% dims when low beam is on.

Well, it still doesn't look like ZDX concept :p But I still think the result is quite nice plus bright DRLs are handy in our insane traffic.

Feedback welcome

P.S. Also installed HID in fog lights and powerful LED bulbs for turn signal in the rear lamps that blink orange through the red plastic (orange blinkers are somewhat important here). Pics comming soon.

Looks good Sandro, I just changed my DRL to a yellow bulb this weekend. Are you using the LED light bars as your fog lights now..?

Thanks! I am still not sure if this LED thing is what I expected but it does look nice on the road so far. No perfect color matching though.

Thanks. How is the result with the yellow bulb?
LED bar works as euro style DRL, always on with the car lighting. Fog lights are still functional and still can be turned on only with low beam, but now have HID in them. I was about to make evening pics with different combos but the car got terribly dirty soon after leaving the workshop.

Very nice.

BTW - how did you get the ZDX into Moscow?

Thanks! I'm still thinking if I could make a more stylish fitment of the LED bar but apparently I couldn't This LED bar is the only quality option for fitting angle-shaped bumpers like the ZDX has, I just wish Hella LED color would be a little bit more blueish to match the HID perfectly.

My ZDX was bought and shipped to Moscow by my trusted friend in the USA. Export of new and used cars from USA to Russia is actually a good business and it has a consistent demand here, especially for luxury USDM cars.

There is quite many Acuras in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, ZDX are pretty rare though (as it is in USA also ) but there are a few in Moscow.

Here are the evening pics of my ZDX.
That is all my camera can do in darkness But that should give an idea how it looks like on the road.
Fog lights are 4300K HID.
I'm getting a little irritated with blueish hue of the LED bulbs in stock DRL section and parking lights, so soon I will probably upgrade them to V-Leds 5000K switchback parking/turn signal bulb and 4300K or 5000K local LED bulbs. Both bulbs are also expected to be much brighter than my current ones.

As for Hella wiring, I had a tech do it for me but I suppose he followed this instruction

Looks great! It's a little busy, IMO, when everything's turned on, but the LED bars look excellent!

Thank you!
Actually I turn fog lights on only when hurrying somewhere full throttle. The LED bars with headlights on dim 50% so they don't really shine much in darkness.

DRL LEDs..

Nice job Sandro!
For the DRL LED's (9005's right?), did you have to use the special wiring harnesses, or were they simply plug and play with the OEM wiring?
Also, were the LED's as bright on the high beam vs. the stock bulbs?

Thanks for feedback
I got DRL LED bulbs with a set of resistors to avoid DRL error on the dashboard. They all were plug and play to stock wiring.
As for high beam, I don't think that ZDX has a separate high beam. We have bi-HID D2S bulbs which act as both low and high beam. DRL section lights up only in DRL mode. I think stock DRL bulbs are a little bit brighter than a DRL but when I look at the pics I think they are about same.
