Just got a Black on Black technology ZDX
Just got a Black on Black technology ZDX
My impression:
1. Blind spot - I actually prefer this car to my BMW 328Xi. One of the reviews said it was a must to have the blind spot warning system is really not warranted. The bigger side mirror really helps, just need to adjust it properly.
2. The lack of visibility of the front of the car is something that I need to adjust to or I will soon scratch my front pumper in parking the car. Right now I am relying on the back up camera which works quite well to back in every time I park.
3. The 6 speed transmission works better than the infinity FX 35 but I prefer the FX's shifting using the shifter to the ZDX's paddle shifting
4. The suspension could be just a tad firmer for my taste. But the existing setting is quite comfortable for hour long cruising except for a little more roll in tight cornering.
5. The back sit might need a little time to get use to, but my daughter after a few days have absolutely no problem now with the back seat. She is 5 foot 8 inches.
6. I also like the sport mode ( transmission better)
7. I also notice that the Ontario workmanship is quite poor, you can easily find a lot of problems in small details.

Congrats on the new ride!
I would agree that the blind spots are really not that bad . . just takes a little getting used to as does the rear window. The front end is shorter that it looks.
The same goes for the rear seats. I sat in the back for a long trip and found them to be quite comfortable.
I like the sport mode too. However, it holds the gear much longer than I would like, reving the engine pretty high. I usually drive in D mode and shift with the paddles to pass and then let the system return to automatic.
