Hi All

Weather is starting to spring into sunnier days. This means that a couple of small mods are in order. I need advice:

- vinyl wrap: I am about to order 3m vinyl (scotchprint). Question is which color will match the CBP? I am only doing the grill and the bumper inserts. There are many blacks http://multimedia.3m.com/mws/mediawe...PbsQPbPPPPPP-- not sure what's the closest?

- hid fogs: I have bought two different brands two different intensities each in the 4500 and 6000 range and tree them last summer, neither fit well. Any suggestions on what is the closest to the factory headlights? The more specific name, model, intensity, even where to buy them, the better. 5th time should be a charm.

I believe the ZDX uses H11 for fogs.

theretrofitsource.com sells HID conversion kits for H11.
these kits are outstanding and not cheaply made.

I also believe that the factory lights are 4300K

 

saba007, what have you done to your ZDX so far? pictures?

 

Very little. Debadged all but the A, matte sprayed the exhaust outlets and blacked out rear bumper deflectors.

 

Is the A logo glued on or are there screw holes in the glass??

When I looked at it because i wanted to take it out, it seems like it's two screws in the back. I remember reading on this forum somewhere from someone who painted it that it is indeed screwed in. You can't tell 100% because there is a piece of plastic that bumps up on the glass... so that might be a tell.

 

All A's on all Acura's have 2 plastic prongs coming out of it.

Yes... but you can't see them because the plastic that covers the inside part of the tail gate bumps up in a nice little half circle to cover them up.

Actually the rear emblem is just held on by adhesive. There are no holes, just take it off with a razor blade

this is the 2nd time someone has said it is screwed on like on other Acuras, strange.
