Just notice when manually opening rear hatch
it was heavy , then it won’t stay up.
I try button and it goes up but once it reach top I think it kept
beeping like something wrong. I’m guessing 2010 67,000 miles the shock things went out.
Unless the motor assist is bad

 

check the mdx forum. i would venture a guess that the mechanisms and function are the same. maybe help to differentiate from just needing a strut to something more major
