The day FINALLY came!!!

Hey guys,

Today, I finally got my Z!!!! Once I saw it, I realized all the waiting was worthy. Everything is so great, except the car is like super heavy, but it is not really a big deal to me.

I do have some questions or something I did not notice when I test drive it.

First, I found out Z does not equipped with the quick turn signal, where RDX has it when I had it as a loaner car. Thought it should be a standard feature.

Second, Seacoast color is extremely likely to get dirty, which I knew it when I decided to go for it. The dealership suggested that I can go do a leather protection using ScotchGard from 3M, so that stain won't get on the leather that easy. Have anyone done this before? Is it really effective? Should I get professionals to do it or I can just buy a can and do it myself.

Z is really a great car. I am planning to tint my front window a little bit darker, but nothing big mod at this moment. I am glad that there is this forum that we can all share our thought, and joys of driving Z.

Thank you all~

congrats on the pick up. the z is one heavy car.... one thing that annoys me at times especially when comparing it to my tl. but of course ride quality and looks make up for it. post pics if you can.

I know, right!!! The white is absolutely beautiful to look it in person.

By the way, anyone has any suggestion for the tint?

If youre interested in the deck lid spoiler, here is the link. Msrp is 500 i think. You still need the kit which is only 50 bucks from the dealer. Installation is probly around 130. Not bad compared to the 700 you will pay if bought/installed from the dealer http://www.ebay.com/itm/FACTORY-OEM-ACURA-ZDX-REAR-WING-SPOILER-ROOF-TRUNK-WHITE-DECK-LID-2011-2012-/120865396296?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3AZDX&hash=item1c24239648&vxp=mtr

congrats!
I suppose this is aspen white pearl II, less pearl and more whitish, but plastic and metal parts paint matches better

as for the car being heavy, its not that heavy imho, 1960kg is not much for a SUV

Congrats. Nice Ride! The lighter colors really bring out the glass roof.

I wish I would see more of these on the road. I think Acura took a stab in the dark with the design being a little more abstract than the accord crosstour. I can always appreciate something different.

Thank you guys.

35 for the front windows sounds pretty good, since the law in TX requires at least 25 in the front windows if I am not mistaken.

I am thinking to hide the wires of my car camera inside the B pillar, I'm not sure if it is safe to do it since there is this side airbag.

Anyway, it is raining right now, but no worries, pics are on the way lol.

If texas allows you to go darker then by all means go for it. Would definitely shine on a white car. If only they allowed limo here in cali id do it in a heartbeat. In my home country, they allow us to tint the front as well.

If priced about 10k cheaper, we probably would see more on the road. As nice as the Z is (and it is NICE), the average person is not likely to spend 50k on a crossover with limited cargo space, and cramped back seats. Especially since the MDX and RDX are both more practical and cheaper. But definitely not head turners like the Z. Such a unique beautiful vehicle.

By the way guys, I was thinking to get the running boards on my Z, but the dealership charge me around $1100 including the labor fee, which I think it is too much. I saw some selling on ebay which only cost 600 bucks. Maybe I will go for it, just wondering anyone who has running board on your Z that was not from dealership?
