Custom Exhaust Possibly?

So i went down to a local custom exhaust shop today & got me a quote, if i were to run a catback flowmaster exhaust dude wants 450 or so but if i just run straight pipes which would obviously be at least .5inch bigger or so they would run 200-250. Im really curious guys which do you think I should go with the money's not a issue, I just don't want to sound like a 93 civic or some crap nothing wrong with the civic but just doesnt go on this car.

If I were you I would look into removing the mid-muffler. There should be a smaller muffler towards the rear of the car. Taking that off will give the car a more throaty sound and is perfectly legal.

Sure, you could spend the $450 on the new exhaust, but there are no guarantees that it will sound good.

The J series motor will never sound like a civic, what u need to do is go 3" flang back from ur 3rd cat to factory mufflers. custom is the way to go. And see if RV6 can make u guys a J-pipe and High Flow Cats to complete the job.
