Cabin Filter

Has anyone replaced the cabin filter yet? If so, where did you get the instructions to do it?

I havent changed it yet, but I think that cabin filter is located behind glove box. Try to remove the shelf (just pull it) and remove plastic cover behind it (I saw it when was fiddling with my new onboard computer). You may need to turn ignition on and turn air recirculation on (or off?) to open the filter compartment.
At least on my old Lexus it was replaced exactly that way

It is actually very simple. As Sandro said above, just pull the shelf and remove the plastic cover. I am really surprised at how easy it is! My TL Type S was much more complicated and resulted in breakage of plastic pieces.

The place is the same, it's the process of getting to it that's different

Changed cabin air and engine filter a couple of months ago. Like everyone says, very easy. There are pics over on the RL forum on how to do the RL cabin air, the ZDX is the same. Engine air is also very easy....

More on this... Changed both cabin and engine filters at one year and 20k miles. Got the filters from Acura parts dept, $80 for both..ouch. Next year I'll buy online.

I've been using the Fram Fresh Breeze with carbon and baking soda for my RL and they seem to work fine. They run around 15 to 20 bucks from Amazon.

They are cheap and easy enough that I do it every 6 months. The activated carbon and baking sodas loses its odor absorption over time.
