So far, what I've noticed has been UI tweaks/updates. Software changes are going to take more time to analyze and decide better/worse.

New dash screen options are the most obvious change with Android 14. Here's just a couple:



The seat belt indicator provides a better interface that is easier to understand(at least for me )


The fan speed indicator has a slight upgrade as well. Giving a clearer indication of the fan speed selected and which direction you are going by flashing the smaller(lower) of larger(higher) fan image on the infotainment syaytem.




Has anyone noticed the gear selection, odometer, and remaining battery distance is in a smaller font?

I think you must have newer hypervisor software than mine.
If you still have ZDX... can you check if the dome light shortcut works when a door is opened while car is on?
Does your surround view camera boost brightness at night only when reversing?

 

I still have the ZDX. My iX was a custom build order that's still in production. Maybe another 6-8 weeks for delivery at last check. I was just out of town a couple of days(hot springs trip to Oregon) and I'll take a peek later today to see which file(s) were updated.

As to the A/V upgrades. I'm not sold on the audio changes. The lower audio frequencies seem to be somewhat more muted and the highs have less distinct clarity. So I'm unsure whether I like it overall. I'm still playing around with the settings to find that sweet spot again. Now that I'm home, I can listen to some familiar sound files to make a better comparison.

I didn't notice the brightness change in the video, but I'll check tonight. Overall the video does seem to be much better resolution than in the previous iteration. Or maybe because I washed the camera housing lens...

I got my grubby paws on an orbital buffer and some shop space to play around with a wee bit 'o paint correction and ceramic coating this week.

 

Dome light shortcut will not turn off the light when the car is "on" and either the driver/passenger door is open. I have some printed information for the lighting systems on the ZDX i haven't had time to go thoroughly go through them yet. I could scan them and send them in a DM.

I didn't really notice any brightness boost in the rear camera.
