Acura zdx rear deck lid spoiler

Hi, just check it out at ebay that there is some used OEM ACURA ZDX REAR WING SPOILER ROOF TRUNK DECK LID.
it is just $24+shipping, around $50 compared with $530 MSPR.
Any Idea what it is?
thank you.

Hmm, I'd ask seller some questions for sure. not a lot of money lost tho. Auction is a little sloppy, mentions your Infiniti. I believe these were just glued on, so no hardware. Acura stopped offering them because, I read, some flew off on the highway. It does mention Grigio so maybe is legit. but it is used, so regluing cleanly may be a little tricky?
I'm always skeptical on too good to be true prices, but for low demand items it sometimes is for real.

Hi, there it goes.
the lid i received is the same as they list on the "accessories" for ZDX,
the print is good, no scratch,
however, as they mention, NO TOOLS, such as the screws( i find the installation guide on line, http://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/pubs/AI/BII47113.pdf)
and the edge of the spoiler had a seal which has been tears out(as they mention)
i will try to ask if the dealer could do it for me or not

Here is the pics.

thanks,
BTW, i went to the dealer this morning, and i ask for the hardware kit.
they sell for $78 + tax, which is ridiculous for the several screws,
but anyway, i buy it. it is still cheaper compared with the MSRP,
Now, everything is set, cant wait to see when it get installed

I don't understand, doesn't the ZDX already have a spoiler? I don't know that I've seen one without

It does. This spoiler is a larger one, goes painted and spreads on fenders, not only tailgate. I personally like the stock spoiler more because it matches the glass roof and tailgate nicely

This was a larger, optional body color spoiler Acura sold for 2010, that glued on, somehow over? or replaced, the narrower black stock lip. Reports of them flying off on the highway, caused Acura to stop selling them is what I read.

Lialvin, does the stock black lip come off first, or does this install over it??

we have to complete remove the black one, and install this with screws. they do need to drill two extra hole on the back door in order to install this optional one.

installed this over the weekend and it wasn't hard at all. I followed the instruction provided from the dealership. All the holes are already there. You just need to wider of the 2 existing holes for make it fits. For a cost of $100 total I'm satisfied.

i have no clue which market they use these taillights for. I grabbed a pairs from the bay and they appear to be OEM quality. I like them mostly because of the white signal area which i installed a pair of white LEDs

Little bit off topic... I was searching for Digital's tail lights on ebay, and I found this http://www.ebay.com/itm/TAIL-LAMP-LIGHT-2010-ACURA-ZDX-Qtr-Mtd-RH-RIGHT-PASSENGER-OEM-/160652036723?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item25679b8a73&vxp=mtr my heart skipped a beat. That doesn't look like an accident. Almost looks like it fell nose down from the top of a transporter trailer.

I seen that a while ago. I purposely searched for wrecked ZDX's just to see how many there are (such a rare car that barely sold) and turns out... I believe the majority of the ZDX's sold, are indeed totaled. So many of them.

The one in the link you posted looked to be have been on the top and got caught on a pole sticking down on the bottom of a over pass or something.. I don't see any actual scratches, dirt, tree marks or anything else to say it was a collision with a car or tree/ pole. What ever it was with, it was at speed.

Overall looks like it held up nicely to be honest. No one would have survived, but it's not exactly shredded in two.

It does not come with brake light. You just have to transfer your current brake light over.
