Any one have thoughts on the Acura EV App? So far, not impressed. My husband purchased our ZDX dowloaded the app, and when he tried to connect the vehicle with Onstar it worked for a short while, then according to him it has crashed & he's not able to connect the car! I also tried to connect my app to the car ( via Onstar), first time they hung up on me, second time I called back they refused to help me & only wanted my husband to contact them to put me on the account since he's the "owner".

At this point, I don't really think I need the Acura EV app but really would like to use it more checking battery charge, tire pressure check, and unlocking my car other than that, it kinda sucks (love my car though LOL). Amnyone have recommendations how to deal with this app & Onstar or is it a lost cause?

 

I seldom use the app. Mostly for the Acura news feed, and checking battery status when away from the car. That's about it.

 

I use the app to set the climate control. I find that it usually works I just send the command without waiting for the app/vehicle status to update.

But yes, the Acura EV app is trash.
