Just got back from servicing my vehicle today and I need to change my battery soon. I am thinking of picking up a Optima Battery. Anyone has suggestions to where to go get one for a good price locally? Dam Acura is charging me $160 for battery replacement. I said screw that I am not paying that much for one unless it is an Optima battery.

optima's go for around 200 dollars or so

go to lordco try to talk the guy into a discount if you dont have a account with them... the guys at the marine drive location always give good deals...

or you can try asking jason at ground zero if he can get you one

i just put a optima yellowtop in like a week or two ago, i think it was around 2bills at lordco, my buddy works there and just put it under an account.

and for your earlier question about the jpipe, yes i am eventually gonna get that too, theres a group buy for the xlr8 jpipe right now its going for $390, its tempting....

You think your buddy can give me the same price you got it for? I was thinking of the yellowtop too. This will be my 3rd freaking battery as the OEM ones suck ass. Everyone here don't waste your $$ on an OEM battery because it only lasted me like 2yr avg...LOL!!

Speaking of J-pipe XLR8 pipe is the one to go for but is not slammed friendly. For me I have to opt for the ATLP j-pipe because I am lowered more than 2inches.

Let me know your PCD works out. The only thing I am afraid of is the check-engine light going on all the time. That is what happend to the V1's I think. How much did you end up paying for it after everything is said and done?

he repaired my old drl module by opening it up and redoing it and saved me 200 bucks from a brand new one

I went to Jason for an Oil change and it went very well.

He also topped up my steering fluid cuz i was abit low and check my tire pressure too for free.
