hey everyone, im new here so thought i'd start a newb thread for myself, i live in Edm, drive a Red 04 TSX 6spd mt, with Aspec kit, no Nav, so far i've tinted the tail, and head lights slightly, Magnaflow cat back exhaust DC sport headers, and Fujita CAI, also a throttle body spacer, put on 18" rims, painted calipers, added new crossed drilled rotors, i have hawk pads waiting to be installed, and threw in my sub, and changed out all the speakers.. planning to lower the car in the spring about an inch or soo.. haven't decided yet.. anyways any other members here from Edm? i've seen a few done up TSX's around.. black, white,silver ones, all in the south side.. i'll post up pix asap, im also in Calgary alot, so i may have been seen around there.. may move down there soon too!

 

Welcome to the forums. There's a number of us with 2G and 3G TLs around, as well as a few TSXs I believe. Sounds like you're off to a great start with your car, I bet it looks fantastic (even better with a drop). Post up some pictures, let's see this ride of yours

Hey looks pretty good so far, gotta love a nice TSX with the kit. Ditch that goofy sunroof wind deflector, looks terrible. Get that drop going asap (and drop it more than an inch or it's not worth it and won't look good).

 

Looks good, definitley needs a drop but so do I lol. Let me know when your in Calgary I'd love to take a look at it.

 

i'm from edmonton. Silver TL, 05, 6MT no-navi. Lowered 1.5" on stock wheels spaced out 20mm in the back 15mm in the front. debadged and front and rear a-spec.

I live northside but I am on southside, terwilliger area often as my GF lives there.

 

Nice ride. Unfortunately I haven't spotted this car yet! I was kind of contemplating getting a MRP TL-S but it was all the way in Ontario.

 

thanks guys.. i live on the south side, work in south common, so im sure you'll see me sooner or later, red tsx with aspec if pretty rare.. and im gonna drop it 1.7" soon, if i have enough extra cash then ill do it this month, otherwise in early spring for sure. and Nersh i'll be in Calgary on the 15th weekend, got a wedding on sat. so maybe we can work something out

seriously considering getting an 07' RDX at southview acura anyone with reason why its a bad idea to buy used turbo car? Anyone knows the fuel efficiency???

 

how much is the RDX going for? I am in the market for an SUV probably so I am looking around. 07 rdx seems to be only a few thousand cheaper than the MDX, I would rather look at those. RDX is kind of ugly, and I think you can get a better SUV for the price. They are overpriced I think

yoooo whats up ppl..i've been mia from this site for a while lol, im from millwoods.. and casadiamor i have a buddy who works at the acura dealership, hes a sales guy, his name is Danny Park, go see him, tell him Raj sent u, he gave me a gooder of a deal on my car... and Riicky what u driving? also anyone know of a good place to get a new front bumper for my car? hit a snow bank last thurs and broke it oem with aspec lip or maybe aftermarket depends on price...

Why don't you see if your buddy over at Acura can hook you up? Don't employee's get some sort of discount? Otherwise getting a new bumper color matched isn't going to be cheap. If you have to go that route, you can try the vendors on this site. Shortly after I bought my car I ordered all season mats & a trunk tray from one of the vendors and got a decent deal even after shipping & duty charge.

 

I am getting a price for a timing belt tension adjuster from a member that also has a buddy working at a dealership, do you think you can ask your buddy to see how much he would want for the same part? This is for tsxsingh by the way

he won't give me much of a deal... i found this body shop tho they quoted me 1100 after tax, new bumper painted and installed... im defo not going thru insurance now since my deductible is a grand.

LOL no kidding. I think you need to find some different asian friends if you're looking for deals. Your statement "cheap azn's never hook up" explains itself. If they're cheap, obviously they aren't going to be giving a deal.

Southgate, I always see his car parked there. I drove by his spot to get a better look because I wan't to see how low he was running (car is lowered too). Then I noticed his exhaust was a little bit too long, then i looked further and there it was, ATLP branding on the tips.

 

thread jacked i see eh? lol and the asian guy is the only one i know that works at a acura dealershittt... i have some other hook ups thru they city, from napa or whatever.. also a customer of mine today i hooked him up and hes opening a new autobody shop on 91st i told him i got a quote for 1100, he said to show him when he opens in 3weeks and he'll do it cheaper! wooo! lol... btw these guys r brown! lol so am I.. so i gotta some connections :p
