anyone have a d2s bulb?
Hey guys, I got a vled bulbs and the passenger side started flickering, but everytime I turn them on and off they go back to normal, then after a minute it starts flickering. So I doubt that its the bulb and I think its the ballast. But acura thinks its the bulb so I need oem ones to plug in and see if it flickers I have a 3g tl.
And if anyone knows the solution to hid fogs, they keep blinking and turning off. Someone on the forums said its the fuse
Thanks for lookin =)

I think you're confused...
The fogs don't use D2S. The low beams do.
Your fogs would either be 9005 or H11 (atleast I think it was H11), depending on what TL you have (assuming you have a TL).
Flicking light can also be caused by voltage fluctuations (such as a loose wire or bad battery/alternator), just a fyi.

The headlight and fogs are two different problems. With the headlight it flickers and with the fogs, when I first turn on the fog lights the blink. One side would turn on the other would turn off and keeps blinking for about 20 seconds before they both stay on.
Acura said that it's the bulb and they're not doing anything unless the car is completely factory. I was told by a different mechanic that it's most likely the ballast. But I'm hoping someone will lend me or sell me their oem bulbs so I can bring it to Acura

Oh okay. My apologies. Looks like I was the one who got it mixed up.
Are your foglights stock? Or are they aftermarket?
For either case, it's hard to say what the cause of the issue is without being there to investigate. But you should check for relays, connections, wires and fuses.
As stated above, flickering is caused by fluctuating voltages.

I brought it back to Acura and they said that they won't touch the car because the d2s bulbs that are on now are aftermarket d2s from vleds and they also said that the aftermarket hid fogs can also be the reason why the headlights are flickering. So in order for them to actually work on the car then I'm going to have to put the oem d2s bulbs in and oem fog light bulbs in. I have the oem fog lights but not the d2s bulbs

I have the same problem. After they're both on for a bit on side starts turning off randomly. So I have to turn them both on an off. But when I first turn them on they keep blinking for a bit. What hid kit do you have? My problem could be a gay n-motion kit

I got my hid fogs from n-motion too. I think its either their kit or how they connected the hid to our cars connectors. Maybe a connection problem. But yeah, it gets very annoying that i have to always switch my fogs on and off to get them turned on. I got them to replace both of mine already and it still does that. And the thing that pisses me off the most is how they just leave the ballast sitting on the bottom of the plastic behind the bumper. Lazy ass mother fuckers!

Lol those jews at n motion. I just ordered bulbs and ballasts from ddmtuning so hopefully that goes well. How many LED's on the switchbacks that you're selling and where are they from?
