Alright gentlemen, it's on

I am now in the market for a CAI, since my parents have finally lifted the "modding ban" for me.

Anyways, any suggestions?

I'm debating Fujita vs. AEM V2
I am generally looking for sound more than anything, so would the V2 be my intake of choice?

Anywhere you guys suggest that I can get cheap (Clement you got your connections right )?

I get 30-50% off.

Really depends on what the price there is now.

Get the V2...you will get a louder growl...over the Fujita without a doubt!! I heard the Fujita before and it isn't very loud at all.

FYI: I bought my AEM CAI V1 3yrs ago from Lordco on Marine Drive for only $260CAD because they matched the price of what I could of gotten it for down in the states. Not sure how much they are selling it for now though!! Just thought I shared the pricing with you guys!!

Clement,

Dam that is an awesome discount you go there!!

30% - 50% is not bad.

Clement,

if you decide to help terrence buy one, can you just ask for the discounted price for an AEM CAI for 03 TL type S ?

If its liek $150 i'll pick it up.

i think regular prices are like 300.

thanks in advance.

aem v2 for sure i had it on my accord before its lothe best sound and gives the most hp gain
its too bad they dont make it for the 2g type s because of our different throttle body or something compared to the tl-p
i got my aem v2 for the accord off my buddy that worked at lordco and he got it for me 340 dollars tax included and everything
he showed me the regular price was like 500 bux canadian

Gain-wise, probably the icbox will give you the most. If you want a blend of sound and performance (less gain than icebox), then probably the AEM V2.

I thought they made the V2 for the 2g's did they not?

I'm guessing it was a part designed for the V6 Accords... I posted in the 3G performance forum, maybe they can help.

Depending on how your parents feel about 'loudness'... it's a toss up. if they don't care at all, go V2, all the way (wish i did), but if you're afraid ur parents might think it's too loud, go fujita (what i have)

The fujita intake is not noticable at all under 'normal driving' but when punched, it's hella loud. i have a vid clip of me and hamsup (pre S/C) ' going' up burnaby mountain. PM me and i'll send it to you via email.

^ haha thanks, but my eyes are set on the V2...
I told my dad that it will "let the car breathe more naturally by opening up it's mouth. The cold air will let the engine burn more efficiently, so I might actually end up saving gas.... oh, and a small hp gain in the right conditions".
It's all good now, and he keeps asking me if they make any for the Impreza... I LOL'd
