Zaino Z-PC Fusion swirl remover
Hey guys has anybody used this product for more than light minor swirls? I used it on my 05' TSX with the porter cable and white pad and it didn't do anything. Do you think using a orange or yellow pad with this product would help or is this just not a product to do more than minor swirls? For the record I use all Zaino products and Z-5 did not fill in the imperfections either after three coats with zfx. Any input would be great. Thanks

Selecting a pad/product combo can be quite difficult. BTW, what pads are you using? If LC or Erasures, try an orange pad with Z-PC or use a different abrasive polish. This is from an old thread . . .

And would add that once the diminishing abrasives break down it produces a 'burnishing' effect on the surface (similar to Menzerna P085RD Polish) producing a high gloss.

Z-5pro barely fills anything from my experience when it comes to fine swirls.. All it does is darkens the apperance of the car. I did see a post at a car forum that someone put if I can remember 15 + coats of Z-5pro, and it did fill in some swirls.
I don't think I'll apply 15+ coats on my car. I think it's waste of product even though you have ZFX for multiple coats. One or 2 coats of Zaino is fine every few months, but if you're after a flawless look, you'll need to polish the defects off your paint.
You'll need to step up to maybe a yellow cutting pad, or maybe even a little more aggressive polish since ZPC is a light polish.
Just work ZPC a little longer and see if there's any improvment.
