Zaino is on the way
Well, based upon the discussions here, and chatting with Sal, I have ordered the Zaino regiment. I bought my car as a demo model (saved a bundle!), but they must have "detailed" it because I can see very light swirl marks in the clearcoat under the gas station lights. Keep you posted on the results.

It finally stopped RAINING on the weekends long enough to wash the car and start the Zaino treatment. Those of you in the NE...sorry, but my rain is becoming your blizzard. I used Z1 then Z5 followed by Z6. I looks incredible! I can't wait to put the next coats on it. Unfortunately, it is looking like rain again.

Second coat of Z5 is on now. Did Z6, Z5, then Z6 final. Hokey Smokes! This weekend I'm going to do the Z2 on it for its top coating. Folks, this stuff is awesome! The surface is so slick, my buffing towel slid off the hood.

(Sorry, to butt in)
RE: Walter Rabbit (the buffer) preface:
I haven't had to use the Z5 on my Silver car (it doesn't show scratches like a red/black and I got to it before it got scratched anyway).
I used Z5 during testing phases, and the stuff would come right off. I now use only the Z1/Z2, then Z6-Z2-Z6 (I'm on my 3rd app in a month, car looks amazing).
RE: Hope buffer is not used:
I SURE HOPE Z5 is not being removed by a buffer. The stuff -- with proper dry time -- should come off easily with a Fieldcrest or Cannon pure cotton bath towel.
(No crud stuck on rubber parts, even use the stuff on rubber, plastic, glass, and metal)
No Buffers... (If someone knows different, please let me know about it)

LOL....... I have actually fallen on the ground when I accidentally leaned on my car with a towel in my hand as I was applying some Z-6!!
I just got a 2001 CL-S, San Marino Red on 3/28. Yesterday was the FIRST chance I had to start the Dawn, clay, Zaino treatment on her. It's been raining here in CT too on and off. Today, I had to wash her again and put on coat number two of Z-2/Z-6. That incredible wet look shine is starting to show. I know what the final results will be because I used Zaino on my 1999 Chrysler 300M- Candy Apple Red- since about August of 1998. Can't wait to get several more coats of Z-2 on. It turns heads NOW and it doesn't look half as good as it will when I'm done.
