Zaino vs. Zymol test results

Hi all - Sorry I haven't been back much, but I thought the NSX's brothers would like to read about a test we did on polishes & waxes. I had gotten tired of hearing about which wax is better, so we did a good test.

Check it out here: http://www.nsxsc.com/nsexcitement/waxtest.html

Saw that site. Of course I knew Zaino would come out on top. You should post this link in Edmunds Town Hall- "Store bought waxes-NO Zaino posts"!!! I would, but I'd start a war there because they think we Zaino users are all shills or own stock in Zaino! IF photopoint.com was working, I'd show you my latest pics from the other day!

Wow, I'm kind of surprised that it was really that much better when tested side-by-side like that. I've been pretty happy with my Zaino so far, but I wasn't sure if it was really outperforming my old stuff or if I was just seeing things.

Interesting test.

However, it still doesn't answer a question.

Which one is better for the paint in the long run. I guess the wax serves multi purposes. 1. shine 2. protection

Is there any test around that tested the protection side of the coin?

null

I can see it now:

"So I took the sandblaster out of the garage and blasted the hood for 3 minutes. The Z-2 felt alittle more rough than 30 days ago but still very smooth. The Meguiars felt awful, much like the unwaxed section..."

also with a synthetic polish like Zaino... it still SHINES after it gets dust on it or goes through a rainstorm....

The Zaino protects just as well if not better than wax.

I swear by it

I've been using Zaino since the summer of 1998. I used it on my 99 Chrysler 300M WITHOUT claying because I didn't know a thing about clay until AFTER I had several coats of Zaino applied! That car LOOKED great. Too bad there was always something wrong with it!

I got rid of it 3 months early to get my CL-S. The only downside to Zaino is the twisted necks that people get when you drive by and they see that wet-look shine! My 300M looked BETTER when I got rid of it then it did when I got it!

If all the doubters just TRIED it AND followed the directions, I think you'd see that what everyone says about Zaino is TRUE! Great stuff- all of it!

Click on some of the links in my sig file to see the 300 and the CL shines.

Here is another good test that included Zaino and a bunch of other kinds of waxes and polished, it is from an old copy of Corvette World magazine, sorry for the quality, they guy who wrote it did a great job.

page 2 (results page) http://people.ce.mediaone.net/bcurre...aino_art1b.jpg

If you like looking at tests, check out the May 1999 issue of Corvette Fever, Zaino rated number one in gloss, durability, and ease of use, sorry I do not have this one scanned.
