Zaino Help???

I was detailing my wife's 4runner last week. I washed, clayed and then started to zaino. I just started to do the hood and noticed these spots that looked like water drop haze. I tried everything to get rid of them, even rubbing and polishing compound. Nothing worked. Any suggestions as what these are and how to remove them? Or am I screwed and they are in the paint? Thanks

that's acid rain for you... those spots are itched into your paint... so unless you polish it down, they are going to be there forever.

if it's not acid rain it's the droplet acting like a magnifying glass which itched itself into your paint. same problem, you have to polish it out and sometimes even that doesn't work.

devo is likely right . . .

problem being now - Zaino is so optically pure, that you will not be able to hide them. Try some 3m swirl remover #39009

try it by hand first - then if still there , a random orbital polisher . . .

I have some rubbing compound and polishing compound. Do I need something more abraisive, or will the combination of those and some elbow grease work?
