NICE...I just "zainoed" my baby yesterday and i'm feeling the pain, I only did 1 coat of Z5 w/Zfx, Z6 Spray and one coat of Z2. I also applied some Z10, Leather in a bottle.

I'm gonna drive down to the lake this evening and get some pics.

PEACE

Sweet!
Does anyone have any experiences claying their windows that they want to share?
I heard that its possible but haven't done it myself in fear that something might go wrong.

Yea, I feel your pain. I just did 2 coats of Z2. Didnt think I needed Z5 (even though I have it) just yet since its made for swrill marks, which I dont have. I still have yet to use the Z10.

I've heard its ok to clay bar your windows too. Stoners Invisible Glass works really well though. No need for me to do it yet...

Yay! Another Zaino convert. I suggest Z-12 for windows. Works real nice, kind of gritty and gets all kinds of bug, tar and water marks off the window. Just use it in the shade.

I've clayed my windows. I had an incident with some paint overspray where I basically clayed my entire car over and over and over again over the course of two weeks. all told probably about 14 hours of claying. And yes, I clayed my windows during this time as well. It worked, but I found that mineral spirits did a better job on the windows, was afraid to use that on my paint.

If you guys are looking to rid your windows of surface contaminents like acid rain fallout and road debris, go to your local hardware store and pick up some #000 steel wool. It should be the fine or extra fine depending on brand, just make sure its #000. It will not scratch your glass and cleans very fast. Afterwards clean as usual w/ glass cleaner. Just be careful around the edges so you dont scuff the trim around the windows. This is the method we use at my family bodyshop for removing overspray and such.

I've been meaning to try that too. When using the steel wool, is it with an type of cleaner or water? Or do you just use it dry? Thanks.

Use the steel wool dry. Afterwards there will be some light dust on the windows so just wipe off w/ your favorite glass cleaner.

A couple of nights ago I clayed and did two coats of Z5 and one coat of Z2. Lots of work, but well worth the effort.

Last night, some bug in my head told me I ought to do one more coat of Z2. I was tired though, it was hot, and I didn't feel like doing another coat. I decided a couple of hours of reading on the couch sounded much better.

5 minutes after that decision, I found myself in the garage...

Your effort will be rewarded with 6 months or so of a shiney car. Also makes it a lot eaiser to keep clean. Good work!

Hey guys--->

Not a TSX owner (yet) but....

I use Zaino glass polish on my windows.....then I apply zaino wax to them everytime I am doing the car. It really adds to the detailed look of the car to have shiny polished windows. I never have to use glass cleaners, I just wash the car, and hit the windows with Z6 spray enhancer just as the rest of the car....comes out great.

I noticed something utterly irrelevant to this thread. The tsx and bmw share the same rim design.
