I've seen that a few times now - kind of fun for some entertainment. My only real criticism was with the wash itself, and I give the guy the benefit of the doubt that it was film editing rather than technique that had him going high-low-high-low.

Otherwise, I give the guy credit. He's nailed his market niche. Living in the SF bay area, I've seen how the ultra-rich spend their money. Catering to their whims with those kinds of products and services seems to keep him plenty busy.

I still do not understand why applying that uber-expensive wax by hand is a good idea. I would think that a pad or MF towel would do a much better job applying a nice thin and even layer.

I've seen the video a couple times myself and just don't understand how a detail can cost 5000 pounds = $6500 or so I think. Especially when the detail shops I've seen cost maybe $400-500 for a top-to-bottom "extreme clean". I personally like to wash my car myself, especially if it were a hyper-expensive one.

Video would have been better had they shown him working on a Black Carrera GT or Red F430

That's because the owner of that car is too busy making his $10,000 per day to wash his own car.

I think he said that it's not even wax yet when he first gets it. He has to rub it into his hands to ready it for the car. I guess the heat changes it?

That's BS..... He was just trying to make his wax seem "special". It's just Zymol carnauba!

Yes ^^

Not that my dad knows everything in the world,......but he is a chemist,..........when I showed him this video he laughed and commented (about it not being wax until he rubs it in his hands etc), "what a load of shit".

You can take that how you will,.........but I agree with aaronng,..........he is just trying to make his wax sound special. Anyway, I have seen this a bunch of times all over the internet, and there is really nothing special about it at all.

Also, they play it up by saying that there are only 2 tubs of that wax in the UK. That's because he's the only one crazy enough to buy those 2 tubs (it is sold in a pair). Not sure if they still have the same policy, but if you buy that most expensive Zymol wax, they give you free refills. So you ONLY NEED those 2 tubs. LOL. BTW, the cost of that wax is probably the same as the cost of S100 wax...
