Windshield hazy after washing car
Hey guys,
yesterday i gave my car a nice deserved wash. My car was dirty after a few weeks of rainy and cold weather. Anyways... i use meguirs NXT wash on the whole thing windshield included. The side glass and even rear window cleaned up fine. The windshield actually cleaned up fine too until it rained today (i know i know ). I noticed that when i used the windshield wipers the windshield sort of streaked with some sort of haze that would last about 5 seconds before dissipating.
When i washed my car i also washed the windshield wiper blades. I ran across it a few times with the mitt that i was using. Was that a bad thing? I was trying to keep the blades clean since there was a little bit of dirt that came off of there. It doesn't seem like my wiper blades need replacing because i dont see any spots where it doesn't wipe away the water. It does that fine. It just leaves behind a haze now. It only barely did it before but for some reason it does it a LOT now and it's getting quite annoying.
Thanks in advance for everyones help.

Any way to get rid of that? Rain X or something? Any suggestions?

The Old Grey Whistle Test
Wiper Blades:
Wiper blades should be checked for wear and replaced (PIAA Super Silicone Wiper Blades or Bosch Micro Edge Excel) annually or when showing signs of wear (tearing of the rubber)
To rectify wiper blade ‘chatter’- Clean wiper blades with Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) to remove any residue. After the application of a windshield treatment (Castrol Super Clean AccuVision™) spray a fine mist of water on to the glass and buff with a clean micro fibre towel, this removes any residue.
Maintenance- Use 303™ Wiper Treatment on the blades periodically – http//:www.autogeek.com

I have a feeling that it might have been the wiper blades because when i washed the car this time i used the mitt that i washed the car with to clean up the underside of the blade that contacts the windshield. I'll try your mentioned methods.
By the way, in case i need to change out wiper blades. Which ones do you recommend?
