I forgot where I read it but isn't Acura leather coated with vinyl? If so, would a leather cleaner/condition be useless since it's not actually being applied to the leather but just the vinyl layer on top?
I'm not quite sure what I should be using to clean and protect the seats in my TL (3rd Gen).

Any idea of Lexol works well for this type of leather?

Let me re-word the question.
Does the Acura TL have semi-aniline or pigmented leather? Or a different type?
If so, is Lexol designed for semi-aniline or pigmented leather?
My understand from that article is that leather cleaners and conditioners that are designed for aniline leather won't do much besides leave an oily residue on the surface since it's not being absorbed. For semi-aniline and pigmented leather, it suggests using their product since it's specially formulated to work with those types of leather. I'm just curious if anything we can purchase at our local store will work, such as Lexol or even Meguires leather cleaner/condition. Basically I don't want a bunch of oily residue left on the leather and I would like a product that actually is cleaning, conditioning, and protecting the leather.

Read the last line of my above post .. or buy the lexol .. most that aren't a gel or cram work well.. the only drawback to the creams/gels is they can fill the holes in the seat.
