I swear, it rains every ten minutes here. Just did a nice wash and QD on the car, and it rained thirty minutes later. Just enough rain to get water droplets all over the car. As I'm driving back home, dirty water spots are on the windshield.



I had to spend a good amount of time this afternoon getting the spots off, especially the hood. Garage storage isn't an option. Suggestions?

 

You can always move again........
A good layer or two of a quality sealant
Use a quality quick detailer like Opt ID & GE
No Rinse Wash and Shine......

 

OK, I already have the 105 from you. Can this be applied by hand?

So far, I've just been washing and following it up with some Opt QD. I'm ready to step it up a notch.

 

105 is fine by hand, but you get better cleaning (brighter paint) when using a PC. Your "fine" but it gets better!
As for wash and QD, at least your on the right track!! Good job!
