Question Wheel Washing

How do you guys clean the inner part of the wheels. I notice some rust starting to develop. Just soap and water?

You talking about the wheels or rotors? Wheels are aluminum... don't rust as we know it.

You will never eliminate that as there are iron compounds in your rotors. Once they get wet, well.....they show rust. Once the calipers pads make contact, the iron oxidation (rust) is wiped away.

If your refering to the edge and the hat of the rotors you can paint them with a caliper or hi heat paint and that will slow it a lot.

Rotors

Zinc Aero Rotors are available either drilled or slotted, an optional anti-corrosion gold zinc coating benefits those who live in cold climates, where snow and road salt are commonly encountered. Zinc coating also benefits detailers who prefer no visible surface rust on the vanes and outer circumference of rotors Quick Stop Pro
