What are you using for the Dashboard

I heard people are having a lot of problems with the Dash fading. What are you guys using on the dash to prevent the fading?

Whatever you do, don't use Armorall. Worst thing for your dash or anything vinyl/plastic on your car. Once you stop using it it will dry up and crack whatever it was on, it also fades colors.

Use 303 Aerospace Protectant, pretty good non-shiny protectant and good for leather as well.

I have found that Meguiars Leather Cleaner/Conditioner works wonders. After a month there is no more signs of fading on the dash. There is no glossy residue, and the treated surfaces still match the doors (untreated). It seems to have pretty good staying power too. Works just as well on the textured surface above the intruments (although application is a bit more tedious to keep it from clumping). I'm very happy with it and after talking to Meguiars, they call for no ill-effects from the treatment.

I use Meg's NXT... don't recommend it, it leaves a slick, uneven residue.

I do love 303...but try Sonus Cockpit Detailer . It's the only thing I use on my dashboard now. It smells great, leaves the dashboard nourished with UV fighting protectants, and truly is anti static. Try 303 and Sonus side by side...you'll see a difference! One more thing, it leaves a nice silky protective layer, without any shine at all. BUT....you can tell that the dash has been protected.

Thought this stuff would be good, but you are correct what a disappointment.

303 works great.

Sonus is great. I also tried 1Z Cockpit Premium.. It smells great and leaves a matte finish. I might try 303 next..

I'm scared now. I used Armor All wipes a few times. Should I switch to something else that'll recondition the plastics in my car? Please let me know. I also used the Armor All leather cleaner/protector... bad?
