Wow, it seemed like such a thin coat. I'll be doing a second coat next week, I'll try to go thinner.

Yep the thinnest of coats is all you need of the 4*UPP. Just applied a third coat this weekend.

It's official FK 2180 sealant is not good. Seems like it washes off with a normal hand washing. You live you learn. I hope the Optimum spray wax will help hold it for a while.

I think it depends on the color of your car. I have a WDP and my spring time routine consists of wash > clay > Klasse All in one (polish + some layer of protection) > UPP polymer coating (more protection) > Black Magic carnuba coating (shine). Then periodic black magic coatings every 3 months or so. Imo carnuba's shine better than polymers but I think polymers protect better (hence why i use both)

+(lost count, but you get the idea) on the 4*UPP....love that stuff on my WDP....I just used some optimum wax recently which works well too.

Dont forget the Danase Wet Glaze after everything!

^ If you are applying the DWG after the UPP, I'd wait at least 24 hours before putting anything on top of UPP

Another ++++ for FS UPP, this stuff is great, been using it now for about 4yrs or so after trying some other waxes and sealants. very durable and easy on, easy off, and of course as mentioned before though, make sure you do the proper prep with clay and polish or your just wasting your time and money!

Yes that would be a good idea....I usually apply it and let the car sit over night and then finish with the DWG

I live in an oven. The Souveran would last 20 minutes here!
