what smells the best?
I need something to keep the inside of my car smelling good. What do you think the best air freshener type thing is? I have been using the trees but they run out quickly and I have to keep buying them. Then I switched to spraying febreze on the floor mats, that seems to work pretty well. Anyone have any suggestions on something that smells great and lasts a while?

has no smell & prevents new smells from showing up. Used it in my new 98 Max & smelled like new 3 yrs later when I sold it.
Of course, I don't haul around shit in my car either, but you get the idea. Stuff works great & you can buy it at Pep Boys.

I bought one of those in LA a couple weekends ago. They aren't cheap, but they do smell real nice. And yes, I got the squash smell. I bought the kind that is a somewhat large flat rectangle and I put it in the spot that is underneath the coin tray. My brother bought a couple of the smaller ones that clip on the vent. I think those are nicer since when the AC blows, the smell comes out. Don't know how long they last though. My guess would be about a month before I need to replace them.

I use the trees, Coconut (the orange one), Everyone always tells me how being inside my car is like being at the beach. Kinda smells like good suntan lotion. Like I saw someone else say I don't haul shit around in my car either, such as animals or people how have mud and grass caked on their shoes (they can ride with someone else). =)

I got an air spencer that clips in the vent (squash), and it is fantastic. definitely the way to go.
buy them on eBay. buy one with a couple packs of refills or else you will need refills and the shipping is a bitch to pay each time.

my daughter bought me one for my car - *sigh *

yeah for real get the squash scent...its fabulous...trust me its the best thing you can get to make your car smell good. they seem a little expensive but they last forever and it always smells great...squash seems weird but its really good

yeah squash smells really good...but i don't agree about how they last forever...in my experience the smell runs out really quick..maybe it's because of the hot weather..and the prices of the refills is just ridiculous if the smell only lasts a couple weeks at most..i do believe its in the 10 dollar ballpark for a refill...i suggest you just get that tall can of little smelly bb's that also come in squash scent...ive had it for 2 months and i still have enough to go at LEAST another year...i think

i got my squash air spencer 6 weeks ago and its still going strong. I am in az...doubt you are anywhere hotter than this...
on ebay the refills are like 5 bucks. just buy a bunch at once so the shipping cost isnt as much per. or go with the bb's...my spencer is great though.
maybe yours was just a dud or something? i got the new kind that clips into the vent, don't remember the model name or anything but i think its a new model.
