Wettest Spring since 1982!!
Wettest Spring since 1982!!
Starting in early March, it began raining and didn't end until about two days ago....literally. Portland shattered precipitation records for April, May and June! In April we got 25 days of measurable precipitation, another 20 days in May and then to top it all off, we got 3.3" of rain in the first six days of June alone. Normally Portland averages 1.4" of rain for the entire month. And on June 3rd we had a high of 61ºF and a of low 45ºF. Al Gore can kiss my ass. Global WARMING?! Puh-leeze. So in case you're wondering why there haven't been any write-ups from me this year....that's why.
Now...the strange Pacific NW weather has switched gears faster than a coke addict going after a fresh pile of blow. Today we are expecting sunshine and temps in the 80s.
Thankfully the nice weather is supposed to continue for the foreseeable future to which I say thank goodness. My mother isn't from here and her inability to deal with the rain is rubbing off on me and is truly fouling my mood. Truth be told...it was starting to get to me but mostly due to the fact I couldn't keep my car clean for more than 24 hours.
Got a full correction on a dark blue Audi Q5 today and will have a write-up posted!

Andrew,
Hope you are right about the foreseeable future and we're done with this rain shit, I felt like calling Dr. Kevorkian and getting a prescription of death as I have been depressed as hell with the rain....look forward to seeing your Audi Q5 write up!
