waxing with mothers wax
just wondering how come when i wax my car [black, 01 cl, stock] that there's streak marks.. isn't mother's wax supposed to be one of the best waxes? and it sucks cause my car is black and it's been raining here off and on [in live in hawaii].. what should i do about the streak marks? i tried using a mint coat solution over it but that doesn't help sht. any suggestions? and btw, i wana post a pic of my car but the pixels are too big? anyway, thanks in advance

for the pictures, take a picture with a lower quality setting, this will reduce the size.
as for the wax, mother's is definitely not one of the best waxes. They are one of the better cheap waxes, but not at the top. Either way, the streaks are from the drying process or something else, because the wax wouldnt cause that, unless you are not letting it dry/haze. Make sure you let the wax sit on the whole car for at least 1/2 hour in the shade before removal.

MOthers Pure Carnauba isnt a bad wax. Just not the best available. Your streaking may be a result of applying too much product, and/or not allowing sufficient time for its oils to evaporate, which allows for easier removal. But more importantly, apply as this as possible. After all, whatever is removed is considered waste! One more factor may be the level of humidity. You may have to alter techniques from whats considered "the norm" for the rest of us.
