I guessing he wants it to clean the paint?

But Meguiars make good paint cleaner then top it off with Meguiars cleaner wax.

EEEEEEEks! I wouldnt even turn my enemies onto that combo!!
I mean the paint cleaner is second rate, and that cleaner/wax is not worth the $6.00 they charge for it!

If I had to recommend a cleaner/wax combo, it would be either Optimum PoliSeal or einszett Metallic Polish/Wax.
If you wanted a dedicated cleaner, i would recommend Four Star Pre Wax Cleaner, or Danase Paint Polish (Abrasive free). A "wax" i highly recommend is Four Stars Ult. Paint Protectant, or einszett Glanz Wax.

Sorry for the lack of attention with that last reply. I went back to add links, but for some unknown and ridiculous reason, this site only allows 5 minutes for you to realize you made a mistake, and then try to correct it. I think my high school algebra teacher was more forgiving than acurazine............

What's so bad about Meguiars? The paint cleaner took off most of the terrible calcium water spots from the construction site right by my house and the Cleaner wax shines up the car pretty good and lasts a couple of weeks. I understand that there are better polishes/cleaners/waxers out there but I really just want to drive over to AutoZone and pick up my stuff. I try to buy off the internet as least as possible.
However, when they are done with the f*cking construction by my house, I'm gonna get some 1Z polish and 1Z wax. Is the 4 stars wax that much better than the 1Z wax? And why is Meguiars that bad?

first off, meguiars cleaner wax is mediocore at best, i have used it in the past, and it offers very little in the protection department... and why would you suggest using a cleaner, then a cleaner wax?? that doesnt make sense....since the cleaner wax is a paint cleaner and a wax, then why not skip the other step....
