Water Pressure for Washing

I live in Apts here in MD and we aren't allowed to wash our cars in the parking lot... I was thinking about doing the whole zaino process at a self car wash with the high pressure hoses. I would only need to wet it down and wash it for the first 2 steps of the procedure, right? Then its just handing polishing... So if I did a "dawn" wash would the high pressure of the water hose potentially damage the paint quality? If this is all a bad idea to begin with does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks.
